PAINTING POETRY PEACE
My peace of PEACE Project is interested in coming to your elementary classroom, school or community organization to customize a program unique to your group of children. The project encourages and empowers your children to express what peace means to them through a collage of painting and words!
The children who participate explore peace emotionally and visually. It is explained to them through My peace of PEACE Poem and other resources that we can help make the BIGGER WORLD A BETTER PLACE by sharing peace. They talk through their ideas about peace then are asked to look in their hearts and answer the question,
“What is your peace of PEACE?”
Meaning: What is the peace in your heart that you can give or contribute to have peace in your schools, communities and the world?
The children discover peace on three levels:
They connect to the peace in their hearts
Express what that looks like through a collage of painting and words
And share their peace in some way using the art they created.
Your children will not only come away with a unique and colorful work of art,
but will communicate a meaningful message to others.

read My peace of PEACE book to your children and do a book signing
(best audiences are kindergarten through 3rd grade)
come to your elementary school or organization as an author or artist in residence and customize a project for your group of children (price is dependent on number of hours it takes to complete the project, materials needed and how you choose to share it with others)
