I live in Minnesota with my husband, our two children and pepper our dog. I have a master’s degree in education and worked with children of all ages in the public schools for many years. As a specialist, I spent many hours in the classroom teaming with teachers and participating in activities from special need’s field hockey to all school service projects.                    

I want you to know more about how My peace of PEACE came together. I’ve been writing my thoughts as poems since I was a young girl. Years later, I picked up a paintbrush to express what words could not. And one of my greatest joys in teaching was working with young children as they learn and grow.

I had this dream that I could put my teaching background and my love for painting and writing together to work with children on making the world a better place.

My peace of PEACE Project and BOOK were created from that dream and many young children have now participated. Time and books have also been donated to local and national organizations.
